PIGS
A good show of sows today, and trade slightly stronger once again, they keep creeping in the right direction at the moment, which is good to see. Good demand for heavy gilts today as well, with some lighter end sorts topping that market at 141p/kg, grossing over £200/head from C & N Warkup, Barmston, purchased by Propa Meats, Roos.
Cutter Boar to 106p/kg and £99.64.
Bacon Pigs to 177p/kg and £190.28, average 177.0p/kg.
Heavy Gilts to 141p/kg and £202.34, average 92.5p/kg.
Store Pigs to £74, average £64.
Cull Sows to 63p/kg and £211.68, average 60.3p/kg.
SHEEP
A super run of springers from Brown & Suddaby, Bempton seeing some tremendous trade today, really catching the eyes of the butchers in attendance and topping at 413p/kg for a single heavy lamb. The rest of the lambs still a very straight trade as well, with the overall average 352p/kg.

Mediums to 391p/kg and £168, average 349.6p/kg.

Hoggs to 205p/kg and £83, average 183.4p/kg.
Clean Sheep to 139p/kg and £53, average 118.6p/kg.
Feeding Ewes to £66, average £58.57.
